Itinerary description
Living in Ifrane, I frequently had to go to Azrou to deal with car registration, car insurance, etc. The highway section of this ride IS very dangerous--stay alert for taxis (or even buses) passing slower traffic, coming straight at you!
As mapped, I shorten the time I spend on the highway by cutting across the pastures used by many of Ifrane's elite runners, south of the Arz Village.
The trail I call 'City of God' is kept clean by lots of foot-traffic. It's a bit exposed, but it's gorgeous, and it's my nominee for best singletrack in this entire region. I love it, ride it up and down, and use it as a good reason to ride to Azrou.

I call this scenic little trail 'City of God'
This little scenic trail is not for novice riders, but it's one of the few trails in this entire region that gets enough foot traffic not be loose. I love it and ride it both up and down.

Hossein's Rug Speakeasy
There's no sign, but if you want an inexpensive rug, knock on the blue door inside this corner and ask for Hossein. He's the local expat secret rug supplier.
