Ride this today. Very hard going, you need to be very fit for the climbs, unless you have an ebike!

The descents are great fun, although a good full suspension bike is required for the rocky surface.

The only issue is with the 14.5 mile mark where you join a small path to the right of a farmers field. It’s about 1.5 mile of overgrown mess, full of stinging nettles and brambles. It’s not really passable. We did it, but we had to push our bikes and got absolutely destroyed by the vegetation. Stung half to death and arms all cut. It’s definitely not rideable. Much better off taking the road to the left, it’s quicker and much easier!

Otherwise an amazing route with incredible views.
