The Inner Carniola Park (Primorsko Notranjska, in Slovenian) is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt regions of Slovenia. A wild beauty, a territory where nature reigns supreme, being the last unpopulated area of central Europe where the three large carnivores of our continent still live: the brown bear, the wolf and the lynx
It is a karstic area covered with dense forests and large forests, alternating with clearings, lakes, open valleys and mountains.
The beauties it offers below the surface are at least as wonderful as those that can be admired in the vast areas covered by woods. In the Slovenian Karst almost every square kilometer hides a karst cave and there are numerous underground rivers.
The intermittent lakes of Cerknica and Planina and the karst plateau of Snežnik, the highest peak in southern Slovenia, complete this idyllic picture designed by nature
