Itinerary description
Great mountain biking loop that runs through the volcanic massif of the Montiferru mountain range from the western slope to the east, passing through the peaks. A few kilometers outside the village, from Sos Molinos (ancient mills) began a long climb up to 900m, from here starts a long and fun descent over 10km of that comes close to the beach of Santa Caterina di Pittinuri. The road begins to climb again, beginning with a slight slope but from Cuglieri, past the fountain Tiu Memere, the slopes are more determined along a beautiful path through a dense forest of oak trees. It scollina in the resort Elighes Uttiosos 1000m approx. From here the view of the peaks of Montiferru is fantastic, after a last stretch a bit technical, you reach the asphalt road that leads back to Sos Molinos and then Santulussurgiu.
