A first attempt to cycle the perimeter of Schinias forest.
There is no apparent trail to do this to the north edge without hitting the road.
Had to improvise and bicycles had to be carried several times though through easy terrain.
Advise to stick to the trail marked "5" which ends at the parking lot. Follow it west to waypoint "5" without deviations.
The recorded return path is staightforward but the sand makes the trail quite challenging. You will need speed/quick reflexes and fat tyres to navigate through the sandy trail.
Nice trail which can be combined with a swim or a run.
Watch out for cars/motorcycles especially during the summer time.
