Itinerary description

Route on the outskirts of Salalah with departure from the commercial port. The route runs over the plain that is between the Salalah mountain range and the sea. It is a very wide and rolling area because it has no slope and the terrain is quite compact. Also it has the alternative of the mountain range to catch something of height, about 500-600 meters. I recommend leaving as early as possible as the temperatures at 12:00 are very suffocating and most importantly anti-puncture cameras or patches to spare since there is a lot of stone and the risk of pinching is very high. I have loved this area for its desert landscape and its great extension that make it ideal for a one day route, if we endure the heat. In the time of the monsoon say that it becomes a green landscape, I hope someday to return to check it. 100% recommendable to go out to bourar with vuestas BTTs, it is a new experience.
