Empieza la ruta por subir a Lican con pendiente suave, de allí pendiente moderada hasta llegar a la comunidad cuatro esquinas (todo camino asfaltado), a partir de allí se sube por camino de tierra pendiente fuerte por la ruta del hielero hasta llegar a la Laguna.
