Itinerary description
The ride starts at either end Longford town or Mullingar. Both towns are well connected by railway...The ride can be done as a loop by taking bike in the train at either end. The trains are equppped with racks for bikes and there is no extra charge when I did this ride on a weekend. Check the timetable for the trains in advance. I have done this route twice with a mountain bike first and also with a road bike. Straightforward to follow as the path runs parallel to the canal. The surface is a combination of tarmac and fine well maintained gravel paths. It took me 4 hours to complete it on a mtb. A diversion is now open and sign posted from the main Royal canal track with direct access to the Corlea Trackway visitor centre near the village of Kennagh, south of Longford town.

Hola Miguel.
Ok Miguel.
