Itinerary description
It ranges from Rovinj to Rovinj village.
We descend into the Lim Darga until St. Peter in the woods.
Again descend to Draga and climb to Tinjan.
So we repeat the lesson descending to Draga and climb towards Jezenj.
Check-in Pazin and patch kit (take two spare tires and lots of fluids)
Now follow the easy part of Pazin to Žminj through beautiful nature.
Check-in Maružini then across the railway path leads to Šorići and Rovinj village.
Check-in Rovinj in the evening.

Start-Rovinj
Rovinj is one of nine settlements officially designated as towns in Istria County in western Croatia. It has a Mediterranean climate, with the average temperature 4.8 °C (40.6 °F) in January and 22.3 °C (72.1 °F) in July. The average annual temperature is 16 °C (60.8 °F). Sea temperature is more than 20 °C (68 °F) from the mid-June to September. The average annual sea temperature is 16.6 °C (61.9 °F). From May to September the Rovinj receives more than 10 sunshine hours a day. The rainfall averages 941 mm (37.05 in) a year and average air humidity is 72 percent. Vegetation is subtropical. Originally the peninsula on which the city lies was an island, separated from the mainland by a channel. The latter was filled in 1763. Rovinj Archipelago includes 22 islets.

Pazin
Pazin doesn’t feature highly in Croatian guidebooks, but hidden behind this apparently non-descript administrative town is a magnificent castle, perched on the edge of a dramatic gorge, with an enormous cave beneath. How this came to be depends on the tale you’re told. My favourite is that of the giant, Ban Dragonja. The legend of Ban Dragonja Houses on edge of Pazin gorge, IstriaOnce upon a time, when giants and men lived together in Istria, there were vast lakes and swamps in the north, but no water in the south. This made farming extremely hard, so the men asked the giant, Ban Dragonja, to help them by creating three great rivers. Dragonja agreed and yoked his enormous oxen to his plough. First he ploughed south from one of the lakes. When the furrow touched the sea, water gushed through and a river formed. Ban Dragonja was delighted with his creation and named the river Dragonja, after himself (giants are known for their modesty!) The next day he yoked his oxen up again and ploughed a second furrow, running eastward. It too flooded at the coast, creating a second large river which he named after his beloved wife, Mirna.

KANFANAR
Kanfanar is a municipality in the Croatia Kanfanar lies at the interchange of the Istrian Y expressway/motorway B8 and A9, as well as on the Divača - Pula railway, and was formerly the junction of a branchline to Rovinj.
