Itinerary description
Not a successful ride. We‘d planned to follow the official Route 313 but at Baboso (a delightful oasis) found a tethered donkey on our path. It panicked as we approached, threatening to plummet into the ravine, and there was no easy way past, so we took an unnumbered path (christening it 313b) up from the valley. This was a push. The road shown for descent on the map is no longer used (and is closed by walls at a couple of points); we’d have done better to follow the new one.
