a couple of km from Rotorua there is an area like the ones that have so many Americans (see route Jack Rabbit) where in the middle of nature there are a hundred km of MTB routes fully signposted with the degree of technical demand, distance, etc. I mean, great. I left the hotel, I arrived at the park by the road (it passes in front of the entrance to the geothermal zone of the area (photo 1) and I made this route that is super easy: very wide road (photo2), a little bit where I If you go there and want to do some exercise, this is an option that can be modified on the fly by entering clues of your grade and your desire to "suffer / enjoy" and that you do not finish it in a day. because there are dozens of variants, an interesting one if you look at my route at the end of the exit of the round-trip loop that I made, you arrive at a crossroads (photo 3) where the Direct Road goes to the lake that is nearby. a grade 2-3
