Itinerary description
This track is made by the Pyreneeën Rider and is completely marked with black/white MTB signes.
The route is 70Km and it takes 6 hours of riding.
From camping Rubina Resort in Empuriabrava we have put up sign to get to the route. If you ride the track from this camping the total lenght wil be 86 km.
To ride this track completely you need a good condition. There are two difficult technical decents the rest are easy decents. The track runs thrue Roses - Port de la selva and Cadaques. When you want to ride the whole track it is smart to load up water in these towns especially in Cadaques because after that there is no water until Roses and this part of the track is very hot with no wind to cool you down. The track crosses the main roads several times so you always have the possebility to shortcut the route and ride home over the main road.
Good tires are important, I use the Schwalbe Hanz Dampf 29"tubeless. 1,5 Bar tire pressure. Do not underestemate the value of a well chosen tire on this track. You will need lots of grip in slow steep decents with loose rocks. This track has lots of sharp rocks and thick thorns so take a tire with lost of puncture protection.

Hi Monkey biker,
You are correct, in september the route will be updated. New signs are made.
I have checked out the route this week and it needs repair.
I live in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and I only come in this area on holidays.
