Route Coverage:
(Sitio Buslot-Budlaan-Sitio Baugo-Sitio Dita-Sitio Langub-Sirao-Sitio Santol-Sitio Uwak-Sitio Likod-Adlaon-Guba-Sitio Agbuwakan-Sitio KaTeves-Sitio Mahayahay-Sitio Agbagon- Sitio Kang-atis -Cambinocot-Mabini-Lanipga-Mabini-Binaliw-Sitio Magsawa-Pulangbato-Sitio Dita-Sitio Baugo-Budlaan-Sitio Buslot)
Route Description:
The route is a mixture of paved and unpaved roads, and trails. This route (clockwise)can be a personal measure or test of individual's endurance and strength and/or for setting personal record.
To quantify someone's performance on this route, the following limitations are suggested:
a) must be completed within 6 hours or less;
b) allowed to have 3 compulsory stops for hot solid and cold liquid intakes;
c) allowed to have not more than 3 involuntary stops due to resting or physical
strength limitation;
d) for additional personal best record, do it solo and starting at mid-morning
(rain or shine), and
e) try to memorize the said route and minimize or refrain from asking for
directions from the locals.
Tip to live by: When doing the route, just think of it as if you are in an adventure racing!!! Safe Riding and Good luck!
Once attained, you may consider yourself as an adventure racer ready for a none-stop, multi-day, mix discipline race, that is ADVENTURE RACING (where brain, guts, and pyscho-physical strength and endurance are the requirements).
Provisions:
a) Bring money, cellphone (waterproof it), tool kit, energy food and drinks, camera and bike lamp in case will exceed beyond 1800hours;
b) Wear sunglasses, helmet, hand gloves and elbow, (knee and shin pads);
c) Secure/install clock-odo-speed meter.
Reminders:
a) For solo routing: always leave information of your MTB route to somebody and give instructions if overdue;
b) Be courteous, respectful, friendly and thankful; be environment friendly; and dispose of your garbage properly;
c) Observe privacy of lots and do not trespass; and
d) Avoid running over or stepping on plants and smashing into fences.
