Itinerary description
This single track is rather difficult, first you have to find it, it starts off of the "High School trail". On a seldom used single track. Then after 500m of nice downhill on this narrow single, there is a 10min climb on a tiny, steep, narrow trail where you must carry your bike. 10min can be very long. Then you reach a ridge which is rocky and technical. But at the end there is my favorite downhill of the island. First narrow, slaloming between the trees and in the grass, then a bit wider but also steeper with some switchbacks, and finally rocky and technical. And you end up in a beautiful tiny village. Just too bad it's under the highway bridge :)
One word of warning: this trail is, for the most part, seldom used. During the summer the it is almost impossible to find the path due to the lush vegetation, therefore easy to get lost. In addition the rocky part are quite slipery durng the humid Korean summer. We had the Hash House Harrier do this trail so it has been marked with blue tape. How long will it stay?
