Ring Tour.
Pivka intermittent lakes. Like the previous day it immediately rose. Once in Zagorje you enter the Pivka plain (San Pietro del Carso) where there are seventeen intermittent lakes, the largest and most famous of which are Palško Jezero and Petelinjsko Jezero. Around the lakes there are many botanical and animal species, some endemic. The researchers listed as many as 182 plant species, 211 beetle species, 106 butterfly species and 133 bird species. The route continues to Postojna (Postumia), home of the famous Caves. The return, always on dirt roads or secondary roads, will touch the small inhabited centers between Pivka and Ratečevo Brdo until you cross the route of the outward journey and end the day, finally, downhill.
Difficulty MTB: MC - medium-demanding excursion for the length of the routes; cycling 100% Difference in levels and distances: ca 1300 mt, ca 70 km
Road surface: 25% asphalt, 75% dirt road, path, country roads, unpaved roadways.
