Itinerary description

Counterclockwise - 30 km - 1160m difference in height.
From the Casarossa pass to Gorizia take the state road that leads to Ajdovscina until you reach the village of Potoče. Parked the car in the space of Gostilna Sivi Caven, we proceed along the same road for about 4 km and turn right towards Lokavec.
Once you have passed the village itself, you are at a certain point in front of an access prohibition signal where the GPS track is located. Instead, I advise you to turn right towards Predmeja to avoid pushing the bike to get over the landslide (Foto1) that took the old road.
The ascent from Lokavec leads to Predmeja first and Planinska koĉa (Foto2) then, it is about twenty kilometers long, but it almost always climbs regularly and climbing with its own rhythm you get to the top without great difficulty.
After having refilled with the specialties of the house, you face the last 8 km of descent to the starting point along fun and challenging singletrack and carrareccie in the woods, where sometimes, fork and arms will be put to the test.
