Itinerary description
Rarely does a bicycle route allow you to cross an island. In this case, the track allows us to do it following an itinerary from Ponta Delgada (South coast) to Rabo de Peixe (North coast).
The route has two very different sections:
The first section, towards the North, combines tracks, rural paths, single tracks and spectacular views over the North coast near Rabo de Peixe.
The second section, the return to Ponta Delgada, is mostly on asphalt. Once in Ponta Delgada the track allows us to visit a beautiful pineapple plantation with a free visit to it.
