Itinerary description
Long trip around the peninsula with great views. When you reach the fish factory after Vatheiavali the road up is very steep and rocky for 10 minutes, but when you reach the quarry it is fine again. Instead of following the road down to Plagia I made a short cut via a rocky foot 'path' over the hill to the tarmac road to avoid the first part of the climb from Plagia back to the pass to Pogonia. This way the long climb is strenuous enough.

The gravel road up from the fish farm is indeed the toughest bit of this nice ride. The climb from plagia is nice! New road under development from fishfarm to plagia in 202301, lots if machinery, gravel depots etc along this part. No problems with wild dogs.
