Itinerary description
Percorso tecnico con partenza ed arrivo a Pentema.
La parte in salita segue la strada che porta alla frazione Buoni di Pentema attraversando boschi di castagno e faggio. Superato il borgo dei Buoni si prende il sentiero di sinistra al bivio che a destra indica la salita al Monte Antola.
Il sentiero di sinistra è noto ai Locals come il "Ravinetto" e porta a Pentema lungo una antica mulattiera dapprima pianeggiante e poi ripida nella parte centrale. L'arrivo a Pentema costeggia i pascoli dove viene annualmente "segato" il fieno per la mucca del paese.
This trail starts from Pentema church, crosses the village of Pentema and climbs along the main road to the tiny village of Buoni while crossing a forest of chestnut and beech trees.
At the last house of Buoni the road shrinks into a trail.
At right you climb in the direction of Mount Antola while at the left you take the Ravinetto trail in the direction of Pentema. The trail first part is almost flat while the central part is steep and demanding.
The trail end part is again almost flat and runs along the meadows at the top of Pentema village.
Few hundreds meters of sealed road to the Pettirosso restaurant and an easy path down again to the Pentema church.
