Itinerary description
Great ride many great views, 38km, about 5 hours including stops minor pushing of bike for max 1,5 Km can be muddy mind rainy days or after snow fall. Not a soul around for many Km. With a small detour (2km) you can visit the Agh. Asomatoi Chapel at 700 meters.

Very nice round although should be quite depressing the way Penteli is burnt - out these days. I often go round Penteli by car from Dionyssos -> Nea Penteli and I am looking upon these trails yet did not know whether there was a continuous trail to bike round the mountain. Well done!
Can I ask you something? Do you use the Toponavigator to design the trail and then follow your GPS? The North east still holds a bit of green but the traces of the fire are still visible because there is just low vegetation. In 5 years it will be perfect.
Yes i do i look it up and the upload it to GPS. After i have done the tour i reload the data and create the images. Use toponavigator 4 not 5 it is much more user-friendly unless you buy the pro version.

You are right about the NE part. I am depressed by the rest of it... Like you said I am also hoping the mountain will recover. Use to go to the place now called Ntafi when I was a kid towards St Nicholas of Kalissia with my parents and the forest was so dense that sometimes when it was getting darks I was scared on our way back to our car. This was in the end of 70s and lots have happened since then... Still a nice trail. I will try a part of it.
I also have the TopoNavigator 4 so I have no choice but to use it! I will try to make some rides the way you suggest. Thanks for your answer.
