Itinerary description
Ride to the viewpoint in the hills of Patra.
Start from village Ag Vassileios by the sea to the bridge. Later with local roads through Mpozaitika to Plaz (back at the seaside). Through marina and port until Gounari str where climb starts.
Viewpoint is reached mostly with asphalt roads but there are tiny bit sections of dirt road (this is the reason to mark it as mtb). Some parts of the climb are really steep. The view is really panoramic, first to south side with new port and national stadium, some 100m later to the north with the bridge.
On return I passed by next to monastery of Panagia, South West Greece hostpital and military camp to reach back Germanou str. Return done through the city with Ag Nikolaou str, Korinthou str and Ellinos Stratiotou str (next to Panachaiki stadium) to finally reach Mpozaitika again. Back to Ag Vassileios with same path.
Level moderate just for the climb, other than that it is mostly relaxing ride through the city. Great views from sections by the sea and of course the viewpoint.
