    Hi Kai,

With the rain of yesterday, this track is not going to be very pleasant but we can go on the 5km loop I posted too. This track should be ok even after the rain.
    Cheers,

    Romain

I just moved to Okpo last week, and want to ride as soon as my bike arrives from Houston. I see you have 4 trails posted, thanks for your willingness to share your findings!

BTW what makes this trail "very difficult"?

  • Chadle Sep 29, 2011

I will be going to Okpo in a few weeks. Should be working there for a few months. I am bringing my mtn bike with me. Hoping to check out these trails and ride with you guys. I am also from Houston.

    Hi Chadle,

Please join us, we ride every weekend: Saturday or Sunday or both. We have just started track survey with one friend; we are looking for easier trails in order to get more people coming with us.

    BenJ,
I do not know if you are still around. Join us too if you can. I have a new phone number: 010 9221 2206

    Cheers Guys!

I am still around, and I have been looking at this trail for a while now...I just don't want to have to ride up Highway 14, and I can't drive there without a shuttle.

The trail that I have from High School to Daegumsan isn't too bad for beginners.

Hey guys, I’m also from Houston. I will be moving to Okpo for about six month. Here back home I do a lot of road bike rides and race. Will be taking my road training bike with me, and will like to do some MTB riding also, if I can find a decent bike over there. I will love to join all of you to train. I like running and running trails also.
Please e-mail me with some feedback an advice on anything that I should know or take that is not available there: edwardarriag@yahoo.com
    Thank you all!

Ed78, your email address doesn't work. Post on here when you arrive, and we'll hook up to try a few mountain trails around here with the rest of the guys.

    Hi Ed,

We have a FB group too called: Geoje MTB.

If you want to run in the mountain you can join Koje-Do Hash House Harriers: one run every 2 weeks. I am part of it.

There are 3 bikes suppliers here selling GIANT, TREK, SCOTT and ELFAMA (not bad at all!). No worries you can find your MTB here.

Road bike: ok where traffic is light but you must like going up and down! There is no flat place over here...

    Cheers,

    Romain
