Itinerary description
An excellent full day ride in Nisene Marks and Soquel demo. The first 15km (10 miles) can be discarded as they correspond to me going back to the car to get something I forgot, and then start again.
The first part of the ride takes you up the Nisene Marks fire road. It's beautiful and very easy, a wide family-friendly path (specially once you get past the parking lots inside the par and there's no traffic). The trail then ascends all the way to Soquel demo forest, no technical difficulty but you need to be a bit fit as it takes a while to get there.
The second part of the ride goes through 3 basic trails in Soquel demo: ridge trail and flow trail to go down and tractor trail to go back up. Ride and flow are super fun and have no crazy jumps or things like that, so they're the most accessible in the park while still being brutally fun to ride. Tractor trail takes some effort and gets fairly steep at times.
After the tour of Soquel demo, the third part goes back to Nisene's entrance and all the way to the shop where I rented the bike (super convenient if you're only visiting like me!)
