Ben Nevis, which at 1344 meters above sea level is the highest peak in the British Isles, is the symbolic mountain of Fort William as well as a climbing destination for tens of thousands of hikers every year. As for mountain biking, however, the challenge with "Ben" is represented by the circumnavigation around its summit, through a breathtaking route between valleys, mountains, lakes and streams in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
