Itinerary description
Started of from Helgafell in Mosfellsdalur valley. Passed Mosfellsheiði over to Lake Þingvallavatn and then the most difficult part of the route, Road via Mt. Hengill area back towards Reykjavik. As I approached Mosfellsbær town, I turned towards Lake Hafravatn and cycled through Mosfellsbær until I got to the starting point. Active cycling time 3:20, ave.speed appr. 20km/h and max speed 60km/h. According to my TC-program the total ascend was 1040m and length 66km.
