Itinerary description
Trails built in forestry land in an old gold mining area. The network of tracks is extensive and it takes several times to find your way around confidently. However, there are obvious (and easy) main tracks (along the water race; forestry roads) and a multitude of smaller tracks (from easy to expert) criss-crossing the forest so you're not likely to get lost. At some main intersections, posted maps provide location.
It's quite easy to ride for a long time and not cover the same ground but it's also fun to try the same track several times and try to get around increasingly faster.
Technically this goes from easy to expert. The most challenging and exciting bits are on the old gold mine works where piles of soil provide ideal launching ramps.
Cell phone coverage is patchy as there are deep gullies.
