Itinerary description
We have this fantastic concept of MTB "races" in Portugal. In every month at least once, there is an event, organized by MTB teams, for you can subscribe for a small amount of money. There is no classification at the end, and you have to do the route following a gps track, provided by the organization.
They are mainly here in the North, and always in places with some interest. It can be natural, cultural or historical, always different. On thing is guaranteed, you do a lot of kms with a good amount of positive elevation and you see marvelous places!
That is why I try to participate as much I can on these events. Back in 2013 I managed to do the whole series, so I have a trophy too :)
This specific event was just 30 minutes away from my home town, actually I have rode on home turf too, since it passed along some tracks where I normally train.
