Itinerary description
Scenic trail from Monte Cordona (Monte Fasce road SP67) down to the wonderful village of Sant'Ilario, eastmost suburb of Genova.
The trail starts at a bend on SP67 road where the two lanes split into separate roadways. Leave the main road and turn toward the sea.
The trail symbol is a double red triangle: always follow it until the first houses of Sant'Ilario are reached
All the trail has moderate slope: the first part is descending in open meadows, with great views of Ligurian riviera and Portofino mountain, then the track bends right into the forest.
Sant'Ilario village is reached where its water reservoir stands at track left: at this point in present route you leave the double red triangle sign and take Via dei Tasso on the left.
Follow the Tasso narrow path stretching into olive tree terraces and small houses then turn right at Via Poggetto and Via Cremona.
This route ends at Sant'Ilario Church; from there you can reach Nervi and the sea trough the main road Via Sant'Ilario or riding west along via Marsano, via Massa and then down to Nervi again along some easy stairs and steps on Via San Rocco and Via Crocefisso
