Itinerary description

30kms + of amazing trails. Long and hard climbs but big part on doubletrack (carreteril) and it's got a traverse at the top that could be one of my favorite trail sections, flow, rocky, technical and doable, and full tranquility at those tops. Then adrenaline descent with turns and options to jump and let go a bit down and down... then you go into a type of phase "by the side of the big current". July and water was coming down huge. This part can be bit overwhelming with heat and humidity and little to no visibility of what s ahead.

I made every possible mistake finding my trail and not so easy to discern the trail from the bad trail going in parallel for 300 meters so I leave my errors on the trail here for others or me to avoid in the future. My last error meant I was at risk of "re-doing" the trail ... similar to my epic screw up in Rascafria.... this time, could think it through turn around... and just make it to the car without the "tragicomedia" .. : )

You cross creeks and currents like 100 times... first 2 or 3 ... you try not to get too wet on the feet... after the 5th it's the other way around... full in the water... including a shower at a water fall that just looked irresistible... but then again, July. In other seasons I am not so sure all that water is so cool.

The water, crossings, and variety of landscapes and trail types makes this 30kms one of my very favorites in SouthEast US.
