Itinerary description
New plan: Escape to camprodon, then head south. To keep warm, keep cycling for as long as it rains, camp when it stops. Up to the village of Pardines, it's all 2-lane mountain road, but after that it's mostly dirt track.
The rain was ridiculous, and didn't stop before I reached the summit, so I decided to camp anyway, as the trip down would have been uncomfortably cold in my soaked state.
I camped at an old shelter. The stone building was closed off with locked metal doors, but I camped out in front, using the structure to provide some additional cover from the elements.
Luckily I had dry clothes and a nice sleeping bag, or it would have been a long, cold night.
