Devetachi Pass - Cerje - M. Trstelj - Temnica - Novelo - Kostanjevica - Segeti - Lokvica - Devetachi Pass
PREMISE
The itinerary develops completely in Slovenian territory and runs along dirt roads and paths along the edge and the stupendous karst plateau of Komen / Comeno.
Among the peculiarities of the route we certainly point out the vast panoramas that range from the Adriatic Sea to the Po Valley to the Alps and which follow one another like a pictorial exhibition. Unusual is the fact that from the starting point to the summit of Trstelj, apart from the Torre di Miren / Merna, there is no building along the route (13.4 km); nature reigns uncontaminated and, especially in the first few kilometers, it is easy to meet some roe deer.
Characteristic and lively are the various villages of the plateau that you cross after the quick descent from M. Trstelj and which have a lot to tell about the events of the First World War as they were located in the immediate rear of the front. In memory of those sad events, the network of Peace Paths on the Karst (Proti Miru Na Krasu) was created.
Here we are describing yet another piece of land in the Isonzo area that has nothing to do with the other areas described by the other itineraries. Something that makes our territory truly unique.

Bellissimo giro autunnale con panorami dalle Alpi Giulie (e il Tricorno ben in vista) al mare. Merita una sosta al rifugio appena sotto il Trstelj per mangiare le palačinke!

Come sempre un bel percorso di isontinoinMTB, la vista del paesaggio e il punto forte, inoltre da valutare il tipo di terreno che e si sassoso ma nella stagione fredda e comunque ben asciutto, considerando poi tutte le varianti possibili di itinerari è un ottima base per approfondire in zona.
