Counterclockwise
From Gorizia it crosses into Slovenia and you reach Plave along the cycle path (unfortunately now totally paved) along the Isonzo.
From here, taking the road to Vrtace (a couple of km on asphalt and then dirt road to the top), go up to the mountain hut of Korada, the highest elevation point of the itinerary.
The descent takes place on comfortable carrareccie and beautiful single trails in the woods and vineyards of the Slovenian Collio.
Once in Dobrovo you take the asphalted road that first leads us back to Smartno, go down to Hum and then find the Italian border near the beautiful village of San Floriano.
From here, soon you return to the city.
