Itinerary description
Very hard. The path up to the midway almost does not exist. From the middle way to Aman Lodge path is there but I could not reach Matheran. I'll have to wait for the monsoons season.

I got the inspiration to do this trail from you steve.
I did the climb on road till matheran ticket booking counter. Then while descending i took to the train tracks on first intersection of railways and road.
Post that it was crazy good.
Hit the stations: water pipe line, jumma patti, then neral.
