No es recomendable seguir esta ruta en bici.
Empezamos en el Gites de Le Relais Occitan y hicimos una vuelta hasta el castillo de Miramont. Salimos por los viñedos a Barbaira. Hay un sendero que sube desde Barbaira al castillo, pero es muy pendiente y rocoso. Al final fuimos por la carretera. Desde el castillo seguimos un sendero hacia el este que fue casi imposible por bici por los acebos y matorrales, y el pendiente. Decidimos bajar por un valle. Fue una experiencia interesante. No es recomedable en bici, pero podría ser guay a pie. Se podría empezar in Barbaira.
I would not recommend this route by bike without some changes.
We started in the Gites de Le Relais Occitan beside the Aude River and did a mountain bike ride circuit. We biked through vineyards to Barbaira, and then followed a trail to the Château de Miramont, which quickly became very tough on a bike. It was very steep and rocky, so we opted for the road, which was great. From the castle we took a track east and then a hiking train into the hills that proved nearly impossible by bike. We pushed the bikes through holly and other spiky vegetation, and in the end gave up and headed down through a valley back to the vineyards. I would not recommend this route by bike, but parts of it would be great on foot, perhaps starting and ending in or near Barbaira.
