Itinerary description

This is an official bike trail found on the Gorski Kotar Bike website. Available at gorskikotarbike.com.

The trail is about 60% asphalt and 40% terrain. We started at Lokve village, then continuing through smaller villages on sparsely traveled side roads. The traffic was very light even in the height of the tourist season.

The route is fairly easy, right up after the village Slavica. The asphalt stops, the terrain road beings, and the difficulty rises sharply.

There are some extremely difficult inclines ahead, they don't stretch for long, but are near impossible to pull off, even if you have an e-bike (especially the incline after the Roswell theme village). Be prepared to push your bike up. This made the whole ride less enjoyable, but it's still a quality trail that will take you through some nice sites in Gorski kotar.
