Itinerary description
The road from the lake up to the TRAILHEAD is graveled and kind of steep but is no problem for a 2wd car. Alternatively, you can park at PARKING FOR A LONGER RIDE and pedal to the trailhead. The trail is a nice grade for climbing but steep enough to go plenty fast on the way down. From END SINGLETRACK to FIRE LOOKOUT is gravel road but I've never seen a car up there.
Guess it would make a nice hike too, if you're in to that sort of thing ;)
There are lots of ticks in the grass at certain times of the year.
