Nice and quiet route that follows the Cruckahenny trail, a good gravel track that exists thanks to the couple of wind farms that are here. We do it in its entirety, going down to Quigley's Point and returning by road, mostly to avoid the rain that was coming our way.
Take advantage of the trail to deviate and face the "climb" to Leamacrossan Hill, only the last 100 m to its antenna are on a bog path, as seen in the photo.
