Itinerary description
From Lausanne ride near the lake till St-Saphorin. Take your time in St-Saphorin to discover this small and very nice village.
Start climbing through the Lavaux vineyards.It is a quite steep ascend but with impressive views of the lake and vineyards.
Keep climbing towards "le Mont-Pèlerin" reaching a height of 1100m. There is an elevator there that allows you to reach the top of the building there and the views are very good.
Descend through the nord side of the mountain. The first part of the descend is a technical trail and in wet weather is covered with mud. If you like technical trails you will like it. If not, you will need to push your bike on some parts, but not for long.
Return to Lausanne going near le lac Bret, face a slight uphill near Savigny and then go downhill all the way till Lausanne.
