Itinerary description
This is a true blue. Don't expect a "lake" trail but more a trail accidental trail. Ramps and ramps, and ramps. Roots and roots. Some portions more the coasting, some, more the nerve. I did Five OAKS then went for the head. If you do all the loops that are offered as you are riding the main trail you'd add a few more kms probably up to 30kms total.
Great trail, perfect condition and woods.
GPS Active Log set for altitude metric every 10 meters gave this trail a totla of 735 minimum meters ascending. The filtered to 500 points total ascend is not accurate. This is no smaller brother to the North Carolina Isaqueena s and Duponts etc.
June 2019... the lake was a blessing. Lots of families having a good time in the water and picnics etc. Would be really good for a easy lake plan.
