Itinerary description
This is a fun ride with lots of nature and mountains. Goes all the way up Carretera de Medina until the Nigua River, goes down to La Toma fresh water bath, then all the way uphill towards the Pomier Caves Anthropological Reserve. The next interesting stop afterwards is the ecological Park Las Caobas (Awesome trails there). This park is filled up with hills and is basically a forest within the city.
The cliff towards the Pomier Caves is quite steep. I got to go by foot a great deal of it, but the downhill is awesome. It is very close to the limestone mines, where you can get an amazing view. To enter the caves you have to pay RD$400.00
