Itinerary description
This route starts and ends at the Verdon E-Bike shop (http://verdonebike.pagesperso-orange.fr/) in the town of La Palud. The cost was €22 per bike and the owner was very friendly and helpful.
The route features a steep climb in the initial stage and then a long downhill back to the town. The road is only for tourists, so there is not much traffic, but watch out for the cars and tight turns. There are many spectacular viewpoints, and being on a bicycle allows you to take in the views much better than in a car. If you wanted to stop for a snack, there is a hut along the route which has beverages and snacks.
Note: We doubled back for another photo on the last leg of the trip so the total distance is off by 2-3km.
