Itinerary description

Incredible route through the area of Al Rumman just 25 minutes from Amman. During the tour we will almost completely skirt the dam of the King Talal dam with impressive views, especially in spring. We will also pass the Gilad waterfall, where we can freshen up and even take a dip if time permits. You have to go well supplied with water (especially in summer) and food since we will not cross any town, except at the beginning and end of the route and the slopes will make us burn enough calories ...

Estás hecho un batal!!! Qué verde se ve el campo! Una bonita zona, llena de fósiles por cierto. No sé si ya dejan bañarse en la presa.
La verdad es que esta zona es increible, por ahora una de las rutas más bonitas en Jordania. Hemos hecho un grupeto muy majo y estamos saliendo a menudo. Tengo la suerte de que todos llevan en Jordania más que yo y yo conocen muy bien la zona, por lo que me están mostrando infinidad de rutas nuevas cada semana. Un lujo...Lo del baño en la presa no lo sé pero la temperatura no está todavía para muchos baños, aunque ya se empieza a ver gente los fines de semana haciendo "barbacoas" por el campo (y dejándolo todo lleno de basura!! Me da mucha pena...espero que con el tiempo esto irá cambiando). Un abrazo.
Por cierto, tengo un amigo que viene a hacer la Marathon de la semana que viene y quiere alquilar una bici de carretera, ¿me recomiendas algún sitio?

Hello there, can you give details on how long it would take if walking with novice hikers & exact road directions to the trail start point? Considering it this weekend (if weather is good) & will be driving from Amman going north on Jerash / Irbid highway (I am guessing we should go parallel to the Satellite station towards Rmeimin, but where to next??)
45 km hike for novice walkers its too much; consider an average speed of 3-4 km per hour.
Right you are... Was thinking of doing a small portion of it (8 - 10 Km max), around the edge of King Talal Dam & the Gilad waterfall. Just not sure of starting point for a circular hike.
