Itinerary description
Beginning in the Munsterlander parkland in Rheine the Hermannsweg leads to Horn-Bad Meinberg with heigh up from 100 to 400 m. It ends on the 441 m high rock group of the Lippe Velmerstot from where you have a magnificent view of the surroundings.
The Hermann Monument, one of the many sights and attractions, reminds us of the historic events as well as the Dörenther cliffs, the Extern Stones, the rafter Castle in Bielefeld and the Eagles Berlebeck route. With his numerous valleys ridges the trail offers a varied elevation relief with far reaching views over the countryside.
