Itinerary description

This route is part of a much larger one: the Wilderness West Coast Trail that begins at Greymouth and ends 180 km further south along the west coast of the southern island of NZ (photo 5). Easy grade and I do not say super easy because there may be wind (like today) and the gravel makes each pedal advance less than with compact terrain. But it is a real walk very nice totally flat (photo 4). The signage is good (photo 2) and there are sections that circulate parallel to the road (photo 3) so if you do not care about the cars, it will be faster on asphalt. When I was 14 km away and I had to turn around (the happy schedule of the NZ hotels since I can not get out before 07:00 in the morning) I came to a place where I did not find the road. Do not be such donkeys as I wanted to go under the bridge (photo 1) or above (photo 6). I think that crossing the road there is an entrance that I took and I turned around when I saw a house but after thinking that I think it is the only option. That is, if you are in Greymouth, you can take a walk.
