Itinerary description
Cycle down the Grand Canal from Dublin 8 to the 13th lock. The track is easy and fast up to the adamstown bridge - 12th lock. After that the tarmac surface is gone and it's a muddy dirt path for the next 5k. Probably best to go in summer, right now it was pretty hard going but doable on a hybrid. The good surface then returns and after 3.5 k there is a cafe right by the canal - the mill cafe.
