Strict but satisfying itinerary.
The climb up the Nanos mountain to the summit takes place from the Vipacco valley from the Podnanons resort to a paved panoramic road in the first part, up to the top of the Nanos plateau where, after a short descent, ramps begin with important slopes.
We prefer the detour to the much more panoramic church of Sv Jeronim.
Once at the top - shelter with excellent meals - you fall in part to divert to the farm Abram - another great refreshment point - and follow the dirt roads to Podkrai first and then Prediama.
From the castle stuck in the rock that deserves at least a photo you continue on the road and fields on the slopes of the same Nanos until you reach Razdrto.
From here on the state road towards Vipacco-Gorizia, now not trafficked, in a splendid and satisfying descent you return to the starting point.
NOTES - to see the castle of Predjama IN BUKOVJE LOCATION deviate from the route on the asphalt road of about 700 m, and then return to the track.
