Itinerary description
Route starts with a long climb on the road to the trail. This was a late season ride with long stretches of snowy hikes and thick, chainstay-clogging mud. I recommend riding this no later than early November. There is a tough 20% climb to the highest point that’s walking only. The Strava record for that 1k stretch is 43 minutes, so you get the idea. After finishing the trail portion there’s a road stretch with 300m of climbing back to where you started. You can start the loop in Galavasay and do all the road climbing at the beginning if desired.
