Itinerary description
This is a review of our travel to the watermill that’s located near Tomasikovo. We will cover in this review three things: roads, difficulty, impressions.
Let’s kick off with the information about roads, the road we took is suited for mtb mostly, you can avoid dirt roads, but in the end, a small road that takes you to the watermill is a dirt road. Half of our travel was on a dirt road nonetheless.
When it comes to the difficulty, there aren’t many hills, but the whole trip is rather long, be sure to pack lots of water, if the worst comes true there are still shops open in the villages. Also, we had one defect caused by the agate branch, so make sure to pack an emergency patch kit.
Overall, this trip was more than great, it offers quite a nice view and roads are mostly cars free. There is just one drawback, that there is a huge junkyard near Cierna Voda. But on our way back we safely avoided it and took a more scenic route, that is suited for mtb only. When it comes to the watermill it was great, a shame that the restaurant was not open so we couldn’t refresh ourselves a bit more with a good drink or a light snack. Still, a great trip for anyone who is bored and wants’s to go to less crowded places.
