Itinerary description
Biking trail description
This trail is located near Sisian town of Syunik province. It starts from Shenatagh village and passes through the hills and reaches up to 3009 m altitude from the sea level. Then it continues to Bargushat sierra.
Monuments description
On the back way home, it is recommended to visit other interesting destinations of Syunik: Zorats Karer (Stone Henge), Vorotnavank monastery, Hot waters of Vorotan, Shake Waterfall, Wings of Tatev ropeway, Devil Bridge, Monastery of Tatev.
Flora
The most mountainous province of Armenia is Syunik. The most well-known sanctuary of the region - Shikahogh is also situated in this province. The former is rich with unique endemic species and animals.
Fauna
The habitats in Syunik meet in the forests bears, rabbits, wild boars, panthers very often. In the mountainous parts are flying white eagles (included in the Red Book of Armenia) and griffons.

All mobile connections functions with some interruptions. In case of emergency, call 911 or 112. Be aware of leashed-off dogs in the villages.
