It's this route we did to acclimatize before the Breck Epic: https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/7043096/frisco-20-loop
We leave Frisco along the bike path, warming up until we take the path detour. The ascent is very strong, in 3 miles you climb 3000 feet. You have to set foot on the ground sometime, but we were able to climb almost everything mounted.
At the pass you have to carry your bike a bit and then begin a very good descent along the path to Frisco, to enjoy.
